Not as good as I hoped

It can find things in grass or on surface well but I burried a Canadian $2 coin in back yard to test it and found anything over 2 inches is no good and at 2 inches it is just barely detectable. I wish I had spent a bit more for a higher end detector.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
