While hunting I watched 3 deer pass approx. 5yds in front of camera and camera did not trip. When hunting a different time had a young buck feeding 8-10yds in camera view, camera did not trip. Camera setting is set with maximum sensitivity. Unsure of how many animals the camera has missed taking photos of. Photos I have received are clear during daylight and night photos are well illuminated, no issues here. Camera is set in a remote area with barely phone cellular service and yet the camera receives good 3 bar service. Satisfied with photos the camera takes and its signal/service. Bummed the camera is not triggering with game present as witnessed considering the cost of the camera.

Doesn’t hold charge

I hate to leave a 1 star review because I’m a big tactacam user, but the 4 new battery packs we’ve gotten will not hold a charge for even 24 hours. Got these free during the Black Friday sale so not sure what happened there.

Easy set up and work great set them and forget them no driving 5 hours to check cameras they pay for them selves in gas money I own 14 tact’s cams now

I am tired replacing batteries, I recommend purchasing this with the rechargeable solar panel it will save you time and money in the long run.

I give lithium cartridges top ratings. It is so much more convenient to slip in one cartridge rather than all those AA batteries. I have an old Gen 2. 0 camera and now a Gen3 camera. It is nice that the Gen3 battery will also power the old Gen 2. 0 camera. I have had the Gen 2 camera for almost two years and the original battery is still working with no problems. I like the longevity of the life of the cartridges. Thank you. A happy camper!
