I am pleased how long the battery left before needing a recharge of course it depends on how active the camera is. One of my original batteries died after approximately 2 years.

A few suggestions

The cartridge is finally working but the process is not easy for non tecky folks.
Very difficult to locate:purchase the 5v, 1 ah charging block. 5 stores did not have it! Found one at a rural shop that still had it.
All ok but removing the battery pack and inserting the rechargeable one was very difficult. Had to get help because eject button doesn’t work well.
Finally set up and again after days of trial and error, finally getting good photos.

Won’t charge

Failed to charge out of the box. Stays at 1 bar, attempted to charge with the provided cord as well as 2 others. Never even got a chance to use it.

Very poor products

The new lithium cartridge’s are complete junk! I just replaced a cartridge two days ago and it’s already down to 57%. Even with the tactacam solar panel with full charge on a new cartridge lasted about a month! I could get at least three months easy out of AA lithium batteries and even longer with the solar panel.

Lithium Battery w/ Solar Panel

The solar panel is not strong enough to charge the lithium battery. I maybe get 2 or 3 pictures a day from the charge provided and then the battery is dead again. Disappointed.

Charge w 1Amp MAX

I have one on an SK w solar charger working great for 1 year.
*note I called to get info because it’s not noted anywhere that the max you can charge these when they go down. And they do because the solar won’t keep them charged forever if not in direct sunlight. But they do last months and months w decent light. If so you need to charge at home w 1AMP MAX charging block. Otherwise it will reduce the life of the battery just like other batteries. This should be printed everywhere but manufacturers count on people fast charging and having to buy more due to stressing the battery
