Great value for the price

I purchased this 2 zone 18000 btu mini split system from HD 6 months ago. It was easy to install. I had a local HVAC contractor do the final inspections. They pressurized and evacuated the system to verify no leaks. Once that was complete the added the refrigerant and tested the system. Up until now I have been using it primarily for heat. But summer is coming and it appears to work great on cool as well. My local contractor was impressed with the design of the unit and how easy it was to finish installation. So far the unit has worked great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just installed this unit. Only took a couple of hours. Very easy setup. Helpful website and great YouTube videos.

I love this unit so far. It's been a life saver in our garage where we needed it. We kept buying normal fans before trying out this Mr Cool unit and are so glad we did. I had to lower it one star because I can't connect to it via the app.

Wonderful unit

I got this unit to cool and dehumidify my 1000 sq ft basement compromised of 5 rooms.
Mounted in the main living area. I leave the doors open to other rooms open. It handles this effortlessly.
The unit is whisper quiet. Followed the instructions, everything worked fine with no adjustments.
The instructions can be a little confusing, since some seem to be generic to other units and some seem specific to yours. I watched some YouTube videos from others which was very helpful, then averaged them all and took my path. The units are of excellent quality in my opinion. Give it an A+. The instructions, I would
give a C. I plan to get 2 more of these units in the future, for the upstairs.
( I have the 18,000 btu DIY) I feel the 12,000 would have been adequate for me, but wanted to be sure.
On a humid 90deg day I think I could cool down to 50deg. My basement is insulated though.
