Trapped into Purchase

This is My second one. First Flip Z3 lasted 2yrs until screen "burnt/sparked" giving it a bar light on the right side of the screen and the top half of the screen no longer works. I figured it lasted 2yrs and I like the fold-up to put in My pocket, so I bought the Z6. Darn thing broke in 2months from purchase (same thing as My first).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Z flip 6 poor quality inside

Lasted 6 months,July 24 2024 to Feb 01 2025, touch screen stopped responding. Looks like brand new, not a single scratch or water damage, but now have to use small screen to receive calls and check messages, cannot unlock main screen as touch does not work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, blacked out inner display

Bought 2 for wife and daughter. Daughters inner display blacked out after 3 months and wifes after 6 months. Warranty didnt cover either bc there were slight scratches on the outer hinge where their phone cases did not cover. Both lost all their photos bc a data transfer was not possible.

Hinge is too fragile

Unfortunately, the hinge is too fragile on this phone. I got this phone at the beginning of December and the inner screen no longer reliably turns on. It took it in for service and they said because there was an imperfection on the hinge from it being dropped that the repair wouldn't be under warranty. Truly, this phone has only had normal wear and tear and it's a problem if normal use can make it stop functioning so quickly.
This experience is extremely disappointing because I really liked this phone. It's small enough it easily fits into every pocket and the outer screen is amazingly functional with the Multi Star Good Lock addition. This would be a great phone if the hinge wasn't so fragile.

Now I wait....

I got the Flip6 in September 2024. I traded my old Flip in that the screen had started to separate at the hinge. That was my 2nd Flip, the first had been insurance repaired for a similiar issue. I love everything about the Flip6 and had high hopes for it. 3 or so days ago I noticed that it seemed like the screen protector (or screen ?) had started to bulge slightly at the hinge and would make a slight clicking noise if i rubbed over it. Then last night I opened the phone twice to a black screen, I pushed the power button even though the phone was on and the main screen would light up and function as normal. Then third and final time i opened it to a black screen it has stayed black. The small outside screen works and I am able to make calls and texts from there. I am highly disappointed. Now i wait for Samsung to resolve this issue....

To help resolve this, we recommend starting by resetting the app preferences. You can do this by going to Settings, tapping on Apps, and selecting More options (⁝). From there, choose "Reset app preferences." This won’t affect your app data but will reset notification settings and default apps, which may enhance your experience. If that doesn’t bring about the desired results, we suggest resetting the One UI Home Launcher. Go to Settings, tap on Apps, find One UI Home, and select Storage. From there, you can clear the cache and data. This will reset the launcher to its original settings, so please keep in mind that your Home screen layout and settings will return to default, but your app data will remain intact. To ensure a seamless experience moving forward, we encourage you to keep your One UI Home Launcher updated. You can easily do this via the Play Store or the Galaxy Store. Just open the respective store, select your profile icon, and manage your apps to check for updates. We hope this helps enhance your experience with the Galaxy Z Flip6! folding screen Randomly stopped working

Be very careful with this phone had to fix frunt folding screen 3 times never even a scratch on any of them. I'm sticking with galaxy S series from now on. Unless quality drops there too.

Alright stops working in a couple moths

It's alright good functioning only thing after a couple months it stops working. Screen started not wanting to turn on and only left in pitch black. Do not recommend if you want a long term phone, this is just a waste of money.

Thank you for your honest review. While we understand your experience did not meet your expectations, many users have found the Galaxy Z Flip6 an excellent companion. If your phone or tablet is displaying only a blank screen, there are several things you can check to identify the issue.

First, shine a flashlight into the SIM/MicroSD slot. If the device has been exposed to moisture, the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI) will appear solid pink, purple, or red, indicating that service is required. If no moisture is exposed, the LDI will be solid white or show white with pink or purple Xs.

With your Galaxy Z Flip6, you also have the added benefit of Galaxy Z Assurance, which provides a one-time discounted screen replacement if necessary. For assistance, we have partnered with uBreakiFix, an authorized Samsung repair service with over 600 locations across the U.S. Finding one near you is easy.
