The Apple Phone i14 is the replacement for a Samsung Galaxy S9+. I have been an Android user for 20 years so I do not expect an easy transition. Fortunately all my family have iPhones so they help make the differences manageable. I have had the phone for 3 weeks and am actually glad I made the switch and prefer a number of the steps navigating from one screen to another. It will take a little longer to have the same level of familiarity that I had with my Samsung, but I know already -- I will not go back.
There was a bit of a learning curve transitioning from my old iPhone 8, but overall quite pleased. The battery lasts a decent amount of time, reception seems good. A lot of features, some I didn't know about like its ability to use satellite for emergency messages.
This was perhaps the worst experience shopping for anything in my life. I've purchased 10+ phones for my family over the years from ATT. This time, the phone had glitches and I had to return it. I was given the run around for weeks and had to spend hours and hours on the phone, each time being told I would be given credit in a few days. A few days turned to weeks and weeks. All the while, the phone was returned to ATT, but my account had a freeze on it and I was not allowed to get a new phone for my daughter. The experience was absolutely maddening and I was shocked at how little any supervisor (many were spoken to) actually wanted to do anything to help me, even though I've been a great and loyal customer for 13+ years.
