I traded in my Flip 5 for this Flip 6 because of the years of software support and the bigger battery. I don't care about the other upgrades as much. The battery endurance does seem to be a little better than the Flip 5. This is a great device. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 Stars is because of the slow charging speed. The competition charges faster. I feel Samsung could have improved that a little. The Flip 6 is superior to the Flip 5, but unless you get a great deal like I did, I wouldn't recommend upgrading from the Flip 5.
