Weak accordion

This was a replacement of another popsocket that had a neon pink accordion. I really liked the color therefore I got both the neon pink and checkered as an replacement. The hold is also weak on these two, when I prop up my phone, it falls overs. I suspect the neon pink accordions are less firm and can't withhold the weight of my phone (iphone 14 pro).

A few years ago I purchased 2 wallets and they were more flexible. What I mean is you can put 3- cc in the wallet. Now the new ones you can only fit one credit card? Why is that?
