Does what it is supposed to do

The day I bought the saw I had to bring home a bunch of landscape timbers. I had to cut them in half because my car won't fit 8 footers. This saw with a fresh battery had no issue. I had to make two cuts because of the thickness. Great having a strong portable saw to cut in the parking lot. I'm so happy with this purchase.

This item would get 5 stars if it didn’t burn out the battery so fast and had a light. A light & longer battery usage is much needed.

Best 2X4 Saw

This saw is great because of how easy it is to cut wood with only one hand. I especially love how simple and light it is depending on what battery you throw on it. I recommend this saw to everyone

This saw is great I use it for Multiple things to cut opening in the floor for the plumber , use it to cut sinding , cut up a palet for garbage it has been very useful and handy its a must buy it my tough system in my truck all the time .

Disappointed with performance

I bought this saw in October 2020 and finally put it to use this spring. My initial impressions were positive, but after using it for a while, I'm disappointed. I thought I could get used to the left-cut saw (after using a right-cut saw). Still not used to positioning the off-cut side on the left. When cutting thin material with the depth of cut set to a shallow cut, I do not like the ergonomics of the grinder-style handle. I find any slight movement of my wrist causes me to either go off the cut line or cause my cut to not be square. If I could send it back, and get a 7 1/4" saw I would, but I'm past the return period.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good saw but flawed fence system.

I took delivery of this saw today. Out of the box the fence came skewed almost 3/16” from parallel to the blade. The fence is stamped steel. I don’t know if it’s a quality control issue or a shipping issue. I had to wrestle the fence side to side at 90 degrees to get it to resemble parallel to the blade. Also the fence knobs that tighten the depth and angles are too large and bumps into the body and the dust chute port, the only way to fully rotate them is to take the fence out of full depth and 90 degrees respectively. Really annoying given the cost of this saw.
Aside from that the rest of the saw is solid. I like the electronic stop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
