[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good little portable saw for small work around the house. Handle is a bit awkward and takes some getting used to. Other than that no big complaints so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few months back and have had a chance to use several times. Overall works great for sheet cutting and 2x4's. Like how easy it is to drop into a sheet to start a cut or quickly trim a 2x4. Only complaint I have is same as some of the others, the dust port. Got my shop vac hooked up to it and worked fairly well but was in the way trying to move the hose around while running a long cut. Would work much better if it were pointed more toward the rear and affixed better so you could pull the hose along and not be pulling the saw sideways while trying to make a straight cut. If you run it without a dust collection the discharge pretty much ends up on your cutting line and makes it hard to see.
Bought this a few months back and have had a chance to use it several times. Overall works great for sheet cutting and 2x4's! Like how easy it is to drop into a sheet to start a cut or quickly trim a 2x4. Pretty easy to cut true and straight and have pretty much shelved my worm drive Skil saw.
Only complaint I have is same as some of the others, the dust port. Got my shop vac hooked up to it (using several adapters I had) and worked fairly well but the hose was in the way and became a bit of a hassle to move the hose around while running a long cut. Would work much better if the discharge tube were a bit longer, angled differently, and affixed better so you could use two hands on the saw to keep it straight while pulling the hose along. Dust bag might be nice, just not sure how well it will feed into it. I will probably drill a hole and put a screw in the tube to hold it in place and adapt my chop saw dust bag for use on this and see how that works. If you run it without a dust collection on long cuts the discharge can end up pretty much on your cutting line since its (understandably) at the front and has a very short discharge tube. Really not a major issue or at least no worse than some of my other tools but certainly could have been designed a little better. Kind of seems like an afterthought on what is otherwise I think a great design. Short cuts no real issues.
Haven't had to replace the blade yet, so hoping the supply chain has caught up and these are readily available. I tend to stick with my 5ah or 6ah batteries since they seem to balance the tool out better than the smaller 20v batteries.
Overall, love this thing! Find myself using it more and more, just hope blades don't become its downfall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to handle and use in tight spaces. Allows me to make small and precision cuts to make things "fit" , especially when I missed the mark on my initial cut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not to heavy(without the battery), easy to use with one hand, compact design to get in places other circular saw can’t fit in. I bought it a few weeks ago and I really like it so far. If your reading this buy it, you will like it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been working on remodeling two bedrooms and a bathroom. This saw is great for cutting down demo scrap for easier transport down the stairs. I also used it with a 4-1/2" diamond blade to cut through plaster board to make it easier to pull down off the wall. The supplied vacuum attachment worked well with my Shop Vac to help cut down on the dust. My only wish for the next generation is to make the saw compatible with 5" blades... I say that because the 4.5" blades are just barely tall enough to cut through pressure treated 2x4's.

one handed operation, very easy to control. The smaller blade and long handle make it very easy to maneuver, but because of that it might be difficult to make long straight cuts without a guide. This is my favorite tool. I try and find excuses to use it. My buddy gets nervous when I grab it to work on his truck (you never know.)

Finally

I have been a dewalt user for year, tried most of the other named brand competitors. By far dewalt has the cordless market covered. When this compact saw hit the market, I thought to myself, finally, dewalt has made a reasonably price compact saw to compete with the other guys. I have used it for several wood projects, as well as cutting quit a bit of aluminum with it as well. It has met my expectations and more. Way to go dewalt. Now if they would come out with a cordless ratchet wrench, I'd be set.

Oh this site is amazing I can finally do overhead cuts one-handed and get a straight line. It is lightweight with plenty of power the table is only 3 inches wide so you can get it super close to the wall or the Joyce. Just a much-needed addition to any woodworker
