Awesome little saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this not knowing how much I would use it. I keep it in my truck it is my go to saw for quick cuts indoors. Saw dust is at a minimum.

Ergonomical Professional Grade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased several 4.5" saws, all electrical by other manufacturers. They are very uncomfortable to use in that they are unorthodox to hold and maneuver through the cutting process. As a full time General Contractor I own a lot of 20 volt Dewalt tools. Each perform exceptionally well and are a pleasure to use. The 20 volt grinder, the 20 Volt saw zaw, the 20 volt band saw, the 20 volt Jig saw, the 20 volt circular saw and the 20 volt flash light are my go to tools. In the 1970's through the 1990's I was a welder and used Black & Decker grinders only. Today, I still do some welding on piping brackets in buildings. These ole timers are still functioning well ( just like me) but are very heavy. Dewalt bought out Black & Decker many years ago. The Dewalt line of tools are professional grade. The 20 volt powered tools offer the following:
(1) Do not have to hunt for a 110 volt power outlet on the work site
(2) No electrical requirements in a home where electricity is off.
(3) No digging out an electrical cord and stringing it out across ones work area
(4) Dewalt 20 volt tools are not heavier than 110 volt powered tools
(5) Using the same 20 volt battery for every tool means - less batteries required
(6) The trigger switch, with the safety push latch is close enough for one set of fingers
(7) Recommend using safety glasses with all tools.
(8) As a California Class A Contractor I use Dewalt tools.

Excellent product
