These are great sounding headphones for the price. The size autoadjustment and cushy earpads make these headphones extremely comfortable. They easily beat headphones three times their price. A must have for anyone looking for awesome sound without breaking the bank.
These headphones are a classic design introduced in the 70s. They are open back and produce an excellent detailed image. They do not overhype bass nor treble and have a non fatiguing laid back presentation.
I have a K240, a predecessor model as it doesn't say "Studio", just "K240". I bought it 34 years ago and have listened to a lot of music with it over the years. It still works great.

Pros: Good focus in in midrange for pulling out vocals, easy to mix with, light to wear, unfatiguing sound. Generally you mix to sound good on these it'll sound good on almost anything. They remind me of a midrange 70's stereo somehow. Cons? Rolloff, low bass, not the most detailed, and they feel flimsy but hold up just fine. In short: Best studio beater cans. You can do great work with 'em and they're cheap, ;nuff said.
My first encounter with AKG 240 headphones was working in magnetic tape manufacturing years ago. I used them for switch listening from master to copy. They helped tune the magnetic formula in developing good tone quality with little use of bias adjustments. They were just a good, basic headphone. I still love 'em. They make music sing.
