[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dock immediately connected a Lenovo ThnkPad X9-15 Gen 1 to a ThinkVision T27QD-40 27 inch Monitor. The laptop charges without a problem, and the monitor functions as expected. I'll use the additional USB ports to charge and communicate with small devises. The dock is pricy, but it does allow one to reduce the cable chaos at the desk such that the laptop only needs the one connection for power and communication with other devices.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dock was exactly as described. All the ports you could need. Plug and play, no firmware download gymnastics needed. I have 2 of these devices, one my office and one at my home office. Makes connecting to external devices a snap. Highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] nice size but has issues. Functionality drops off for no reason. attached 2nd screen does not re connect after Laptop going into screen saver mode or sleep, have to unplug power to doc. Secondly none of the USB3 ports take a Harddrive backup drive, it is not recognized. case light is on but nothing in file folder. Plugging drive into Laptop USB 3 works great. So not good for the purpose it was supposed to work.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dock works well, plenty of varied ports, but some older equipment (external monitor (flicker on and off) and printers have had trouble installing and being located subsequently).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dock to power 3 monitors off of a Yoga 2-in-1, and it has wokred smoothly. I use 1 HDMI and 2 Displayport outputs to the monitors. Much smaller footprint and less hassle than previous docking station (single USB cord from computer to dock helps!).
The docking station only displays 1 monitor after a system reboot. About an hour later the second monitor comes back on. It is not the second monitor or the laptop, it is the docking station. I have two new identical Lenovo laptops, four new identical Dell monitors, and two identical Thunderbolt docks all with new cables. The docking station in question performs the same way when attached to the second laptop/monitor setup where the second monitor does not come on until it has been on for an hour or so. When the docking station that was originally on the second system is installed on the first system, it works perfectly and both monitors work perfectly as well. This problem can easily be recreated. How do I return the defective docking station for replacement or warranty repair? It is only three months old.
