Great for intermittent usage. I own and operate a metal fab and blacksmith shop. This tool is so vital in production but doesn’t last long. The rubber tracking wheels deteriorate, the blade won’t stay straight, the cuts aren’t consistent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most uses dewalt metal working tool I own

I use this bandsaw everyday at a construction site/shop. I works great for handrails and brackets. I really wish it had a switch for the light.

Great saw, a must have!

Saw works amazing, surprisingly light for the size. Powerful motor that doesn't draw a lot of power. 40 cuts of 2x2 1/8th mild steel with a 4amp hour battery and it was still going. Great design that allows the saw to pass by anything you cut on the left side of the blade.
Highly recommend.

Smooth cuts!

Easy blade changes, great blade availability, blade tracking has been very consistent. The light in bvb the throat was another handy touck, and makes following marks easier in dim light situations. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

20 volt deep cut band saw

I purchased this on Friday and put it to work Monday. I was doing a welding project and needed to cit 2 1/2 inch angle iron. I thought it would take some time to cut 1/8 thick metal. When I started the first cut it took no time at all. It took me much less time than using a chop saw and the cut was remarkable smooth and precise. I shoul hawe purchased it earlier. It would have saved a great deal of time cleaning welds and my projects would have been more precise.

I’ve had it for less than a month. It died on the second day I used it. The brushless motor seems to be stuck. Light turns on and it makes a humming noise
