Great for Landscape Shots

I bought the product to hold my phone while recording for a virtual choir, which requires a portrait shot. The adapter on the tripod allows one to use a phone in a landscape mode, but it took a lot of extra hassle to get the phone set straight and vertical. The adapter needs to include vertical (portrait) in addition to horizontal (landscape) capabilities.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
