Transformers are BACK!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely GIDDY about the "Transformers Legacy United" action figures! I was lucky enough to receive an 'Animated Universe Optimus Prime" in exchange for my honest review.
This is NOT the cheap toy that I remember! Yes, it is made of plastic, but it feels sturdy, strong -- and like it can withstand the strongest of imaginations/battles.
This looks and feels like a collector's edition -- but it's a toy! Take it out and PLAY!!

Excellent for kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of course is a Hasbro!!!, my son love transformers and he is 7 years old. This toy is able to handle it. The plastic quality is excellent. I have other transformers that are not Hasbro but plastic is very brittle, so not suitable for kids.

Maybe not for older fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening it, my fiancé and I both thought "what kind of knock off Optimus Prime is this?" So it doesn't really look like him. I mean it kinda does but the shapes and colors are just kinda off so maybe there's been a redesign I'm unaware of so it might work for younger transformer fans. It took a lot of finagling to get him to stand on his own. He isn't the sturdiness of toys so I'd worry if a kid were actually playing with it, he would break. He's cool but there are probably better Optimi (is that the plural of optimus?) out there.
