The Samsung Galaxy Ring is awesome. The only thing I don't like is that it registers your sleep score when you get up to use the rest room and then it gives you a poor sleep score.
Stopped charging after 3 weeks. 2nd Samsung Ring to do this. First one last just over a year. Poorly built product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Marc, Thanks for reaching out to share your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your critiques provide valuable insights that will assist us with improving our product line. As you are aware, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. To prevent damage to your device, avoid wearing other metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers, and remove the ring when handling heavy, hard, or abrasive objects. Please let us know if you would like to share any other feedback with us or if you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources provided below by reaching out to Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

Battery issues

Better failure. I'm surprised to see this same comment from other users. I've used all Samsung products (except the VR headsets) which I was about to purchase. The experience with this ring has really been disappointing. The battery used to last a week and now last a few hours at best. This happened all at once and it of nowhere. Support has been as disappointing as everyone else has noticed.

Save your money - buy an Oura ring

I loved this ring at first. Battery life was extraordinary, super comfortable, doesn't wear over time in color or shine, and far easier to wear to sleep than a watch. And, obviously, the insights are great especially when paired with the watch. Sadly, it's only been 8 months and the battery life is abysmal. It used to only need recharging once every 4-5+ days, but now I'm lucky if I can get 7 hours out of it. Lots of feedback online (check reddit, etc.) about this issue with little to no support for replacement or fixing by Samsung. I've been a lifetime Samsung person and am bought into the entire ecosystem but this is a miss. Save your coins and find another ring instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
