I've been positively impressed with the ring so far. I do acknowledge it is effective for folks that are part of the Samsung ecosystem, which is the largest downside to me. Nevertheless, the lack of a subscription fee is great, the AI Insights somehow always guess when I've had some drinks, and the recommendations for increasing my energy score tend to be helpful. Meditation part is still in Beta but I'd love for some functionality for pairing with Headspace instead of Calm.

I wanted to move away from using a smart watch and the constant vibration made me annoyed. I still needed a way to track my steps and viola, in steps the samsung ring. They give you a sizing kit and I choose one, used it for a week, just to test comfortability. Now originally I felt the watch was miscalculation steps 🚶♂️, but after using it for a while now I fairly accurate. I like using the ring compared to the watch and it's better to use with a samsung phone as it can get a better tracking/steps counter when in your pocket. Hopefully there's a ring 2 with better tracking capabilities. Also very convenient to use for sleep tbh, it's a ring so sometimes you even forget it's on.
