I recently traded in my Oura ring for the Samsung Galaxy Ring. I have a Samsung phone so connecting and setting up the ring was very easy. Samsung Health connects to Google Health Connect, so my other meal and exercise tracking app data flowed right in. I like the fit and form factor of the Samsung with its matted finish. I love the gesture controls to take photos from a distance!

Every morning, I check my Energy Score in the Samsung Health app. I love being able to check my sleep quality, heart rate variability, and previous day's activity into a single, easy-to-understand number. It is accurate at predicting how I will feel throughout the day. The AI-powered sleep coaching provides personalized, actionable insights that have genuinely helped me improve my nightly rest patterns.
Battery life has been stellar, lasting days on a single charge. The charging case is not only functional but feels like a premium piece of tech jewelry. I would to have case color to choose from in future designs. I also love the gesture controls being able to dismiss an alarm or take a photo with a simple double-pinch gesture feels like living in the future. If I leave my phone behind and the alarm is ringing one simple gesture shuts it down. looove it. Also not having to pay a monthly subscription to stay healthy is amazing, it provides all these advanced metrics and AI insights without an extra fee. Was good. Now, horrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so when I first got the ring it was amazing for the first few months. After a few months it went to having to charge every 7 days to 6 days, then it gradually got lower and lower. Now on a good day I get twelve hours, but normally 8 hours. I got it for sleep measurement, but if I dont charge before bed I won't get the data. If I had known this was meant to be a disposable product at a few hundred a pop, I would have shopped elsewhere. I am a samsung fan, phone, watch, laptop, tablet, love em all. But the ring is a dud, unfortunately. Don't get it til they fix issue, possibly in next version or model.

If only the Battery life would hold

Absolutely love this ring while it worked. Super comfy but after the first year battery life is just horrible . The gold finish is holding up great. I really have nothing to complain besides that the battery life changed to it has to be charged numerous times through the day

Great Features Poor Battery Life
