My first smart ring
on September 1, 2024
Posted by: Cj68fold6
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Ring offers a sleek, minimalist design that delivers impressive tech in a compact form. This smart ring excels in health tracking, monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep patterns with high accuracy. Its discreet design makes it comfortable for continuous wear.
A standout feature is its AI integration. The ring uses AI to analyze health data in real-time, providing personalized insights and recommendations. For example, it can detect irregular heart rhythms or sleep issues and suggest actionable steps to improve well-being. AI-driven notifications ensure you receive timely alerts about your health and fitness goals.
Battery life is robust, lasting several days on a single charge with fast wireless recharging. The ring syncs seamlessly with your smartphone through a dedicated app, enhancing the user experience with easy access to detailed health metrics and AI insights.
While it primarily supports Samsung devices for full functionality, the Galaxy Ring’s blend of stylish design and intelligent health monitoring makes it an excellent choice for tech-savvy users seeking advanced, discreet wearables.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this ring. I've been using a fitbit for years. Get a new one every year or so. The samsung ring keeps better track of stats better than any fitness band I've owned! Highly recommend!!

Comfortable Alternative To a Watch
on September 3, 2024
Posted by: MackNJeeves
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my Galaxy Ring for a couple of weeks now. It's been a really comfortable alternative to my Galaxy Watch, particularly when I go to bed. I can wear the Ring while sleeping, letting my watch charge overnight, and still track my sleeping, oxygen levels, heart rate, etc. And in the morning, Galaxy AI will provide me with insights into how I slept and what I can do to get better sleep at night.
I have been washing dishes and washing my hands with the ring on without any issues, so that's nice. I can wear it all day - it's very lightweight and I hardly even notice it's on.
If you're looking for something to keep track of your heart rate, sleeping, oxygen levels, etc without needing the full Galaxy Watch, the Galaxy Ring should do everything you need!

Good ring to wear daily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If size wouldn't have mattered, then I would've kept it. I changed it for a 12, but it was worth it

Works good
on September 3, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it mainly for just monitoring my daily movement and activity as well as my sleep. I recently started nights so I'm trying to see how good my sleep is vs how rough of a night I have. The ring has tons of features that I should probably try to use more like the pinch to take a picture. Battery seems to last and long time but I also got the size 12 so anyone with smaller fingers will have smaller batteries. It seems pretty durable but I still take it off when lifting weights because I don't want to ruin it and plus I'm sure that would hurt my finger a little.

Black Galaxy Ring
on September 3, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring was purchased for my husband. It has a nice sleek design. So far loves the feel of it and the connection to our android devices has been a breeze. The data in comparison to medical devices had been hardly accurate, when we looked at them at the same time.

An Incredibly Solid First Outing
on September 3, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially a little bit concerned given the fact that this was a first generation product and as everyone knows, first gen products don't yet have the bugs worked out. I could not be more wrong! This ring is amazing. It's my first smart ring and I am already in love. The device has incredible battery life and it also has wonderful health insights. The energy score and sleep tracking are great. The Galaxy AI involved in the process of generating insights from your health data from previous days is surprisingly useful. I was very pleased and very impressed!
If I had to pick one negative it would be workout tracking and that is something that is exclusive to the fact that it is a smart ring. No fault of Samsung or the product whatsoever. It's very hard to safely wear a smart ring while doing strength training specifically with barbells and dumbbells and so the primary means of exercise that I engage in is hard to use the ring to its fullest capacity. Sigh... Guess that means I'll have to get a smartwatch at some point too. I see what you did there Samsung haha.

Mostly great with one exception
on September 3, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mostly use my ring for sleep and heart functions. It seems to work great for those.
My one concern comes from apparently not being able to use hand sanitizer with it on. Per an article I read, that is a definite nono, which could result in damage to the sensors. I am concerned enough that I now even take it off to wash my hands with foaming antibacterial hand soap. Let-s facility, COVID isn't going away, and I do feel the need to use hand sanitizer, especially when I travel.
