Pretty good, with an exception.

I love these headphones. Best pair I've ever owned hands down, but there is always a problem. The ear cups on the headset tend to drive into my ear and heat up real easy. But other than that great headphones.
I would recommend this to a friend!

They work and sound great. It was a little finicky setting up the Bluetooth, but I saved several hundreds of dollars by not going with the Apple Airpods

Really good! But noise cancelling not as expected

Maybe it’s because I’m already used to good noise cancelling. But from what I heard on the reviews, the noise cancelling of these headphones were the best of the best. It is still very good but not as impressive as I was expecting. Overall, the quality build of these headphones is very good and the design is very beautiful. Also, these are the most comfortable headphones i’ve ever tried. They are even more comfortable than the AirPods max. I think it’s because they are very light compared to other headphones. The sound quality is also good and the app let you do a lot of things to adjust the bass (nice equalizer). Something I also appreciated a lot was how you can turn the volume up and down. Overall I’m really happy cause I’m finally able to wear comfortable headphones (my ears are very special and very sensitive lol).

Good first few months

Great sound when sitting still or walking, however a weird popping noise happens going over bumpy roads when commuting on the bus. Appreciate Bose continuing to have physical buttons, especially on cooler days when you don't want to take hands out of mitts for touch controls. Noise cancelling is excellent.
Overall very good headphones. But at this price point would expect near perfection, disappointing not to have the same sound quality during a common use case like taking transit.

These headphones are worth every penny I paid. I let a friend try them and he was blown away. He plans to buy two pairs, 1 for him and1 for his girlfriend. I would buy them again in a heartbeat if something happened to my current set.

Very disappointing

This headphone is highly overrated. For this price, Its sound quality should be much better. It is a very expensive headphone, so I did a lot of research before I bought it. I read reviews here. I watched review videos on youtube. They all say this is a very good headphone. I even went to a bestbuy store to test it. However, there is something wrong with the sample headphone so I was not able to listen to it. I eventually decided to buy this headphone because I trust the reputation of Bose and because there is loud noise constantly coming from the construction site near my home. I have to admit that this headphone is quite good at cancelling noise. But that's the only best part of this deal. The sound quality of this headphone is not worth its price. I was not impressed by its sound quailty. In addition, it makes my ears very hot after a few minutes. After I bought this headphone, I borrowed a Airpods Pro 2 earphone from my friend. To my surprise, I found the sound quality of the much cheaper Airpods Pro 2 is way better. Airpods Pro 2 can also cancel noise quite well. So I paid almost twice the price for a headphone with inferior sound quality and less comfortable design. I cannot return it to bestbuy either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Diamond color is just Amazing

My Dad owns a pair of these Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra in Black. I would sometimes use it and knew I wanted to upgrade.
Positive:
I got my Quiet Comfort Ultra in Diamond and I absolutely love the color it has a bit of a metallic shimmer, and the silver brackets attached to each ear cuff just gives it an over all premium feel.

I noticed a difference in the quality of my music it sounds high quality and I could hear parts of the song that wasn't as pronounced in my old Quiet Comforts. Also I love how the music or video pauses it's self when the head phones aren't in use. It's a helpful feature because often times I forget to turn of my music. The head phones are also quite comfortable that at times I forget I'm wearing them.
The bluetooth connection is fast and it connects to my device right away, while my old quiet comforts took time to connect.
Negative:
My biggest issue with these headphones is bluetooth interference. This is a lasting issue with all the bose headphones I've owned. I was hoping with the 60th anniversary Diamond edition they would've fixed it. While I can hear my music fine, at times the song cuts off and I can't hear my music or videos properly. Usually depending on where I am and it's increasingly irritating. I hope bose will fix this issue soon

Power button: I hate this button because you have to hold it to turn it off and turn it on and it's inconsistent. If you hold it too long it'll turn off and turn back on again. Also if the head phones are on idle for too long it'll turn off. Which is helpful but it gives no indication, so when I'm trying to turn it off it'll turn on. It would have been much easier if a single press of the button would suffice.
Overall even with it's issues, I am satisfied with these headphones it is definitely an upgrade from it's predicessor the quiet comfort 45.

Huge upgrade from QC45

I’m using QCs since QC15 like 20 years ago. I’ve used all of them. Ultra is huge upgrade from 45s. Out of the box without any EQ adjustments the sound is great. I tried with Apple Music, spotify, YouTube music and Tidal both wireless and wired. Oh I’m taking 1 star for you have to turn on the headphone to use wired now. That sucks.
