I bought this mount to go with my MXTA26 Antenna. The mount was easy to connect on my Ford Taurus. It compliments the MXTA26 very well. It also affords me minimal paint chipping on my trunk. I would recommend this mount if your buying the MXTA26 Antenna.

Super easy install and works as intended on the hood of my 2018 Tacoma. Fitting connector disassembles easily to allow cable to pass through firewall grommet. Would be good ro have a cap included for the mount when not in use, but simple enough to alide a small dabric cover over

These work very well except for the Ford Raptor with the fiberglass hoods which are too thick for the mount to go over, but we mounted one on a 95 landcruiser and worked great. The MXTA26 6db gain antenna was also purchased and it is excellent.

This is a great universal mount! We see lots of Jeeps, Yotas, etc; that feature this product, but not in the everyday pickup truck(2013Chevy Silverado LT). This mount was place on the driver's side upward part of the hood and it works great! It's combined with the Midland MXT275. Install was super easy and quick. It's plug and play design is a bonus for new GMRS beginners like myself. I was very pleased as to how it works well not only with other Midland handhelds, but other non-Midland radios as well. I live in a city setting with obstructions (buildings, trees, distance, etc)but this combination did the job and did it very well! Tip of the hat to you, Midland!

Works great but beware of install

Bought this for a car cruise I was organizing. Mounted on the trunk on my 2016 Subaru WRX STI. During the event, it must have shifted and shattered my rear window.
Works great, just be aware of how and where you mount!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
