LOVE 'EM!

LOVE 'EM!!!
I'm an ophthalmologist and I am very critical of my sunglasses. I've tried all the other high-end brands and Maui is hands down my favorite. As a matter of fact, this is my 4th pair of Maui's. Not because I lost or broke any, but because I love these glasses. The clarity, polarization, and color saturation are unparalleled in the industry. This pair of Peahis instantly became my new favorites due primarily to the extent of their wrap. NO stray light gets in around the periphery, and the red Lava reflective coat imparts them with an undeniable "cool factor"! (I'm also a die-hard Chiefs fan so the color is a big hit on game day!!

love the superlight lenses much more than glasss

These are great with the superlight lenses in a prescription. A little expensive at 800 but you get what you pay for. The comment in the review prior to this is wrong, at least in my case. I can clearly see that the prescription is a second lens stuck to the backside of the original lens, when I look at the glasses from the back, It is most evident at the bridge. So I do not think there was a "blank" non Rx set of lenses to keep.

Just like the description: Crisp,clear, color enhancing, comfortable. These are quality glasses that you can see and feel. Once you put them on you won’t want to take them off. The lenses are very durable and hard to scratch but be careful not to hit them too hard or they will crack.

Long time MJ owner, but have not bought new ones for a while since I have a wide head and the frames tended to run slimmer. Bought the Peahi with rose lenses and a 2.5x reader as I’m a fly fisherman and get tired of changing glasses all day long. Aside from getting used to the cheater and having to look straight down while wading, I love these glasses! They are snug in my head, but not too tight, have plenty of eye coverage and are were comfortable all day on the water. This is my first pair of plastic lenses, so time will tell how they hold up but I’m vigilant in cleaning lenses under running water.

The Only Sunglasses You Should Ever Own!

Love my new Maui Jim Peahi sunglasses! Have been a fan of MJ for years. My first pair lasted 20 some years and when the ear piece broke, I was not a happy camper. Looking to see if I could find a replacement part it became clear that these particular models were no longer made. So I bought some cheap drug store replacements while I searched for something else. Of course there was only one choice for a replacement, Maui Jim! So my loving wife who purchased my first pair of MJ's offered to buy these for my recent birthday so the search was ended. These are the best sunglasses made! My only complaint is that now you do not get a hard case with your purchase. Again my first pair came with a great hard case that lasted as long as my first pair. So with that, I am searching for a suitable hard case that will protect my Maui Jim Peahi sunglasses for another 20 some years!
