Terrible frames, Excellent lenses

I gave these only a 3 star because the finish on the frames are terrible. I would strongly avoid the soft matte black frames as they will peel and leave a sticky residue. I spend several hours on the water fishing and these are by far the best lenses I have ever owned. Both my wife and I love Maui Jim’s but do not purchase these frames unless you want to risk them peeling and becoming sticky. I am on the hunt for a new pair as my one lens shattered tonight on a tree branch . Saved me but lenses didn’t fair to well.

Frames peel.

I have the same issue as everyone else. The frames are horrible. They peel from only sweat and once it starts peeling, it doesn't stop. Lenses are good though.

Loved these sunglasses until they began to get the sticky feeling on the rubber coating. The bronze lens are fantastic & the fit of the frames are perfect for me. Sadly doesn’t sound like there’s anything that can help with this particular finish which I loved.

The were supposed to be for large heads but are smaller than the medium sizes. Can’t use them, what a waste.

I had a similar pair that lasted over six years. Somehow the lenses cracked. I like them a lot. The ones I just purchased fit great

The glasses are awesome and the lens is better than expected. I also wore them on a recent bike ride and was surprised how well they fit on a bumpy off road ride. Very cool!
