Great looking sunglasses, very fragile

I got the Island edition of these glasses while on vacation on Kauai this past year from a TB store. Overall the look, feel, style, I fell in love at the store and was excited by the Island exclusive logo and inlay on the arms. What I didn’t expect was that they were about as fragile as a thin wall wine glass. I don’t even remember dropping them, I own many higher end sunglasses, but never have I had a lens shatter with little to no impact or abuse. I will certainly think twice about another pair of Maui Jim’s, something so fragile is too much to worry about for casual everyday wear.
