Good for a quick clean job

I own the Little Green portable cleaner as well as an upright cleaner. I like the Little Green one because it's easy to grab and go for those quick, unexpected messes. The water reservoirs are easy to fill and clean. It has great cleaner coverage/spray and the suctioning is powerful. All in all, it does a great job getting the messes up. However, this is the second one I have owned. My BIGGEST complaint, is that there is no way to completely take apart the brush/suction head and stuff gets stuck and gunk gets trapped in there and the way it's angled, there is no way to get it out. Doesn't matter how much water you run through it or soak it etc, there is just no way to get it completely clean. Which drives me crazy! I had hoped that this being my second one, that would have been an improvement someone made. Especially since the brush head is clear and you can actually SEE the things trapped.

My husband first bought me a little green machine when we were first married with pets- yes I requested one for Christmas. Each one has lasted more than a decade with no problems. This cleans coffee, wine, cat yak, pet piddle and more. Easy to use, easy to clean ,always gets the job done quickly and efficiently. I hope Bissel keeps making these for the coming decades - a proven cleaner.

A friend who has multiple pets has one and recommended this model to us. We have had the machine for a mere month, but we are very pleased with this little gem. Highly recommend Bissell products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have cats (one "helping" me type this review). And thus I have cat messes on occasion. The Little Green quickly cleans those messes on my off-white berber carpeting. My first Little Green stopped working when I used the wrong cleaner in it - totally my fault. So I purchased a second one. After 6.5 years, the grounding plug came loose (kinda surprised about that, actually). I called Customer Service to inquire if I could still use the machine (I already knew I shouldn't, but hoped that they might offer a solution/remedy). Was told that I could take it to a local service center to have it looked at, and they provided the business name, phone, etc. Well, the machine was already 6.5 years old, and having one cat with a sensitive stomach, I decided it was time for a new machine. Would I purchase a fourth one? You bet, as I have cats . . .
