I did the foot rest of my husband's recliner, and there was a distinct, visible difference. I've used it to get blood out of carpet, among other nasty messes. My friends have borrowed it and ended up buying their own. The portable size is great for traveling to help older relatives that need some help and for storing in a place with little storage area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this once, about 4 months after reviewing it as a gift, so the warranty does not apply to me. Basic puppy pee accident. Seemed to work well. Rinsed out the dirty tank per the instructions. Came back a week later, and the entire dirty tank is filled with slimy mold. Likely the hose is as well, but I can't see that. It's currently soaking in a bucket of bleach solution, but I don't have high hopes, as it can't really be taken apart to be scrubbed. Too bad, as it was easy to use and the puppy is still a puppy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
