[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn't have enough suction for my needs, for thicker pile carpet. I ended up using my little wet-dry shop-vac and a spray of vinegar and water mixture to remove cat throw up-I then sprayed plain water on to remove that mixture and the last of the stain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product as a gift for my bridal shower as it was on my registry. I had it for less than two months and the whole thing broke would not work so I had to throw it away. Do not buy this. It's not worth the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After a few years of the use, the arms of my sofa were looking sad and dirty. This did the trick, and now my sofa looks great again. I'll admit I was a little grossed out at all the dirt that showed up in the water and impressed at how effective this was at pulling that dirt out my the upholstery. Tips for new users: This process is a little wetter and messier than you may expect, but it gets the job done. #sweepstakes

Not only cleans the spots in the carpet, it worked great as an upholstery cleaner on my sofa and the sofa dried quickly because the vacuum pulled out all the excess moisture (along with the dirt). I use it often and would recommend it, especially if you have kids or pets.
