What I learned after a few weeks using this tub

I got this tub because I have had trouble getting in and out of a regular tub. These are things I didn't think about when buying a walk-in tub.
1. you have to get in and sit while the tub is filling.
2. There's no getting out until the water has totally drained away.
3. My 40 gallon water heater is not quite adequate for the size of this tub.
4. The built-in heater does hold the temperature of the water, but doesn't make it hotter.
5. You can't run the air or spa jets until the water has reached the minimum level and my tub takes about 10 minutes to fill the the min. level.
6. It's hard to balance washing your hair in the tub because of the soap bubbles issue. If you wash your hair while waiting for the tub to fill, you make allot of bubbles with the air jets. So, I usually wash my hair in the kitchen sink or wait until the very end of my bath so as to not make allot of bubbles.
7. I use a small space heater in the bathroom which I run for about 5 minutes before I get in the tub so the room is warm.

The manufacturing quality and workmanship of this heater is very good. We had it installed and the guy didn't have any issues.
