We have been using this tub now for about 4 months. It is very spacious for two of us. My husband especially enjoys the jets. I find just soaking wonderful even without using the jets. The controls are very easy to use and conveniently located. A key will be to get a good plumber. Because of our space, we had a little shelf against the wall built but it can be placed anyway you like.
I installed this Whirlpool Tub entirely by myself. It took awhile because I only worked on the project after work and on the weekends. I'm a diy-er and not a professional tub contractor so I watched countless YouTube videos on how to install electrical wiring, gfci breakers, pex water lines & fittings, relocating the PVC pipes for the center drain & waterproofing systems as well. Anyways... 30 days later and the tub is installed and working beautifully. This tub is spacious and luxurious in my opinion and I love the color changing LED lights when the pump/ jets are running. This tub holds a lot of water. If you only have a standard 40 gallon water heater you'll have to plan ahead. You'll have to fill the tub until you run out of hot water, turn the water off, wait 15- 20 minutes for your water heater to catch up, & then fill the tub the rest of the way. It's totally worth it though! This tub (for not having an on- board heater) holds temperature pretty well. I highly recommend the Empava JT367.
The tub is huge! Everyone has gasped when they have seen it. This is not a DIY install. The tub came with thin plastic components that my plumber switched out. Several other custom changes to it to make it work. Check your hot water tank to ensure you have a big enough one to fill the tub.I haven’t used it yet but am thinking cleaning might be an issue to ensure mold doesn’t get in the pipes. Looks great installed.....and super big.
