[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this tape from 3M to test. It is thicker and heavier than other tapes and looks like it should hold together in most conditions. It says it is water resistant, it should hold in most cases.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of the 3M™ EXTREME HOLD Duct Tape. I use duct tape very often in my business. This duct tape lives up to its name. Sticks much better than any other duct tape I have tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to do a review--It was given to me from 3M as a :test product"--it is GREAT--great holding power--had duct work that was not joined--but laid over well--EXTREME HOLD is working wonders keeping the heat where it belongs--did I say "no leaks?" "NONE!". Fantastic product that needs to be on the market.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Except for this tape being thicker than some others, I didn't find that it held any differently. I holds as good as any I have used but not really any better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unmatched Performance for Demanding Applications

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M’s Extreme Hold Duct Tape is now my “Go-To” product for so many different applications. Seemingly, its use is limited only by one’s imagination as I have used it in lieu of rope, bungees, pipe brackets, and even replacement hinges as well as the typical “emergency” uses. . The strength is unmatched by everything except perhaps the military-grade, so-called “500 mph”, duct tape that is generally unavailable to anyone without military connections and the adhesive quality is actually superior. If you really want it to stick, be sure to clean the mating surface first with ethanol alcohol.
I cut a half dozen or so 3” sections of 1/2” PVC pipe and roll several yards of this tape onto each pipe - these go into the glove box of my vehicles and into every toolbox I own. I also wrap a yard or so onto my bicycle handlebar for emergencies and have used it twice to (temporarily) patch a tube when I ran out of regular patches and even once to repair a blown-out tire so that I could get home.
