Good Heavy Duty Duct Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from 3M in exchange for my honest opinion.
I am sure I am not alone when I say not everyone uses Duct Tape for their ducts. I use ours for closing plastic containers for storage so we don't have any surprises when we open then again.
With that being said, the tape is much thicker than regular Duct Tape. It was difficult to tear (preferred method) to remove the amount of tape needed. I had to use a utility knife to cut the tape against the container. I don't want to use that method each time because it can compromise the integrity of the container.
The tape catches on itself very easily, so if you are extending the tape out and it begins to slip, you risk the tape being stuck to itself.
Lastly, the tape did not stick as well as I have experienced with similar products. I am sure when using this tape on ducts, it gives time for the person to make sure they have the tape positioned correctly. Once I applied pressure and rubbed the tape onto the container, it did stick well, but I cannot imagine a contractor working in an attic on someone's ducts and having to take the time to rub the tape around the duct to make sure it is sticking properly.

great for crafters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] a bit of an unconventional use, I use this to protect the outer fabrics from rubbing on prongs from hardware in bags and items of the like. it has held up REALLY well which i have loved. just a tip for those who use it, do not leave any in your S.A. because your needle will not be your friend after that. great product.
I've also used it outdoors to patch up a hole in my greenhouse. we don't have any rainy weather so I can't give a good opinion on that, but so far its stuck pretty well even on our warmer days(no extra sticky residue on the sides either)

Excellent Hold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've received a sample of this Duct Tape and I've used it to secure items in my garage as well as tape for small home construction projects. It holds well and does the job. It is extreme.

Not extreme at all

I'm extremely disatisfied. I got this tape because I needed an extremely stiky and durable tape, but it performs way worse than the competition and is not stiky at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extreme Hold on very cold brick

I have used about 15 tough tapes looking for one that sticks to cold brick. Live in Iowa where we have exteme temps (-15 F not unusual). Though Extreme Hold is not perfect, I found it to be the best out there at this time. Easy to work with and cuts with ease. Brick is one of the worst building products to get anything to stick to. Love the Extreme Hold stuff! I do not get any compensation of any kind for this review.
