Amazing technology.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the fact that this tape resists splintering, splitting and tearing because this is what it usually happens with any tape. So good job for this! it also seals boxes that are too heavy. Another good point. I had to seal a box with any tape and when I tried to lift it, everything came out. But for me the most important aspect is that is made from RECYCLED CONTENT. 3M is doing something to help the planet. Hooray!!!!! I received the product free from 3M.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was provided this Scotch Moving packaging tape as a courtesy for trying it out and offering my opinion. I am happy to do so. First of all, the dispenser is appropriately constructed, having the strength to handle getting tossed around and the sharpness to cut the tape efficiently but with the necessary protection from finger cuts. I used it to secure a box of shredded paper that we are donating to a facility that cares for homeless pets. The tape sticks quickly and securely. I was very pleased.

Best Packing Tape Ever!

I find that the Scotch Packing Tape is the best their is. This Tough Grip Dispenser is easy to handle and works perfectly in your hand to secure your packages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heavy duty tough tape. Had to return big bag of dog food, Scotch tough grip packaging tape really secured the box. Easy to find the start of tape, rolled of the roll easily with no splitting or tearing. A high quality packing tape.

Why Doesn't It Stick?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm extremely disappointed with this tape for one reason... it isn't sticky at all. It doesn't stick to the roll, to itself, to cardboard boxes, to plastic totes. It peels off when it gets hot and I had multiple fails with using it to seal moving boxes. It is a bit thicker than regular packing tape and it does resist tearing even at the perforated, cut edges. In my opinion, that's not a good trade off, in accordance with it's name. Tough Grip, it should be extra sticky and stay on what it's applied to but it actually fails at its only purpose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scoth Tough Grip Moving Packaging Tape w/Dispense

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the tough grip moving tape on some boxes that I needed to pack away for storage. So far it seems to hold tightly and it glided over the box very neatly. My boxes were not quite 80 lbs but It held very well. I like it.

Scotch Moving tape is as strong as one could need.

It's great not only for sealing packages but helpful for minor repairs and other temporary jobs that require adhesives. The dispenser makes its application easy and quick with minimal effort and mess.
