great for painting stripes over fresh paint

my work required me to paint stripes of 2 different colors over fresh paint. I had a limited amount of time to finish the job. This tape worked perfectly over paint that had only dried for about 24 hours. When I pulled it I was pleasantly surprised to see nice crisp lines and no paint peeled. I used this on smooth and lightly textured walls both.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Disappointed

It didn't work any better than regular masking tape. There was seepage in too many places for it to be worth the extra money. I had to go back and touch-up in numerous places.

Truly gentle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is very gentle on all surfaces. I use a lot of painter's tape for watercolor projects, so gentle tape is very important to me so that it won't tear my paper. At the same time, the tape needs to be water tight against the paper (or wall, or anywhere else). This tape held up to a ton of water for testing purposes and still came off the paper clean. I am getting ready to paint some walls in my house and I plan to buy this tape for all of the cutting in that I will need to do!

Multi-functional use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to review and was so glad to receive it. While the product works wonderfully for home remodeling / painting projects, I am also a papercrafter. I use the Delicate Surface tape to adhere watercolor paper to a hard board for painting. It holds the paper in place and removes easily without tearing the surface or leaving behind a residue. I highly recommend this product, whether you are doing a home OR craft project!

Dependable tack and removal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the standard Scotch blue painters tape for everything: labeling jars and containers, temporarily hanging items or taping things up. This Delicate Surface Painter's tape is equality dependable for my applications. I did try it on paper and it ripped the surface of the paper, but almost all tapes will do that unless you remove them carefully (and frankly, that's what Post-it notes are for).

RUINED WALLPAPER!

Used on a bedroom remodel. Was going to leave the existing wallpaper but as you can see from pictures, the tape that had been there less than 24 hours pealed off the wallpaper that was I under it. This is a costly repair as now the wall has to be refinished!! This tape does not do what it says it will, DO NOT USE IT ON WALLPAPER!!
