Not bad, not amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Wiss 3-in-1 cable cutter is a decent tool. I found that the material used for the cutter is too soft. When trying to cut stranded cable, it dented the cutting edge. The wire stripper works but it’s very easy to cut the wire- so just be cautious of that. The sheath knife is my favorite part of this tool. I have always used a razor, but this is so much safer and faster.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Three tools in one. Slides in back pocket easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my new cable cutters for about a week now and have been very pleased with them. I have used them on 12 and 14 guage sheathed cable. These cutters cut cable easily and the jacket splitter and wire stripper feature works great. It takes a minute to get used to flipping the handles to use the sheath splitter, but after theb1st day of use I was happy. These cutters are sharp and split the sheath easily. They slide into your back pocket easily and you have 3 tools in one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The tool for when you can’t bring the whole bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited about the 3-in-1 nature of this tool when I ordered it, and it didn’t disappoint. Many times when crawling through an attic, it’s hard to bring much with me, so it’d be nice to bring this one tool instead of a utility knife, wire stripper, and wire cutters.
In terms of performance, the cutters are sharp and cut through 10/3 wire easily. I’d put them up there with other premium wire cutters. The sheathing cutter works fine, but requires a little more finesse to get it angled right than you need with a utility knife. I don’t generally use universal strippers, but this one works well.
Overall, the only thing that lets this down a little is the handle. It could be a bit thicker with better grip. I likely will grab this in the future for quick electrical jobs and when i don’t want to bring my full tool bag. For repetitive tasks like putting in outlets in a room or working on a panel, I’d probably still grab my strippers and utility knife along with this cutter to make the stripping go a bit faster.

Versatile cable cutters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cable cutters are 3 tools is one. It replaced my side cutters, strippers and utility knife with one, high quality tool. I tried these on several types of wire and they consistently worked great. The cutters are very sharp and effortlessly cut through everything I tried to cut including solid copper wire, stranded copper wire and even some steel cable. Without changing tools you’re able to reverse the cutter and cut the sheath to expose the individual wires then reverse again to strip. They seem very durable and well made. The cutters appeared to retain there sharp edge after several uses. These are very handy to have in your tool belt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice, sharp pair of cutting pliers. I made over 200 cuts through 12/2 wire yesterday with no issues at all. It doesn’t seem to have taken any of the edge. They are a little awkward in the fully opened position. Added bonus of being able to flip the handles. Was able to use 1 side in a stripping application and leverage to cut a ground in a hard to reach area.

Nice but disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try them. They performed well with 110 wire and lower gauge wires. Unfortunately when cutting a 220 wire they developed a chip/nick in the blades. I suspect I am have received a pair that just didn’t get a proper hardening. Over all the design and ergonomics are great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product came pretty fast in the mail. I was shocked that it was smaller than I thought, used to larger linesman. They are light weight, very sharp, cuts great and the added plus is that they flip 180 degrees to help cut.
