Do I have the oddest use award yet?

I bought these for mechanic work. How they actually got used may qualify me for a "most unusual " award.
For the second time in as many years, a small bat entered the house tonight via an open front door and had to be dealt with.
Lucky for me and not the bat, the ceiling fan intervened and it hit the floor.
I grabbed the safest thing I could think of to pick it up and take it outside:
My Crescent X2 Bent Long Nose pliers!
I'm sure you wouldn't recommend disinfecting them with alcohol and flame like I did afterward, but they are perfectly fine now.
