[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Duct tape is required in many applications but sometimes hesitate to use because requires scissors and leaves threads and sticky residue after removing. This NO RESIDUE duct tape is helpful!

No Residue Duct Tape

I like the fact that it leaves no residue - none of that stringy sticky stuff after removing the tape. It also tears vertically and horizontally so you can use just the right size of tape for the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 3M™ NO RESIDUE Duct Tape in exchange for an honest review. I knew the perfect application for this product the minute I received it. We had some shelves at work that kept popping off, regular double sided tape just wasn't cutting it. My manager didn't want to use duct tape for fear it would take the paint off the shelves if we had to remove them at a later date. Have no fear, 3M No Residue Duct Tape to the rescue. We tried it on one spot just to make sure, works as advertised!

Works as promised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item from 3m as part of a test program. The No Residue Duct Tape arrived just as we a project we were working on needed duct tape. The tape feels very strong, but was reasonably easy to tear off the roll to apply. We did a couple of removals of the tape a few days later and it does seem to come off without a residue. It is very sticky so, like any duct tape, it is not trivial to remove from every location, but when it is removed there is not a residue. I thin we'll have lots of uses for this tape.

Great tape!

I used this to hang plastic on vinyl siding it was awesome did not leave residue, was strong, lasted throughout winter. Water resistant I used it outside.

I've had this tape for a while and find it very useful. It is very strong and removable. However, it clearly should not be used on weak surfaces. I can't imagine using it on many painted surfaces - too strong. Also, I wouldn't use it on any weak material. It comes off so cleanly from metal that I can reuse multiple times. The negative reviews I see appear to be using this tape for the wrong use.
