3M Delivers Again with This Tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free roll of "No Residue" Duct Tape from 3M to sample and I love it! I used it to post a sign on my house (top strip on rough stucco and the bottom strip on painted wood) and it removed easily enough and, yes!, no residue! I just received the roll so I haven't been able to test the 6 months limit but I will keep you posted.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested it out and yep it doesn't leave any residue. Only time will tell if it really allows no residue after an extended period of time but I haven't been let down yet! Love 3M products!

seals well but hard to unroll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of the No Residue Duct Tape from 3M to try. I needed to seal a vacuum cleaner hose, and this tape was perfect. It sealed the tear effectively, but it took quite a bit of force to unroll the tape. The tape tore easily, however, and a week later, it's still holding its seal. I would recommend using this on places where you don't want a permanent seal and where you would expect to remove the tape. Not having residue is a plus.

Great New Feature Same Great Usefulness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate, and I was very pleasantly surprised by this product. This no residue version makes duct tape a much better product - the one thing I hate most about regular duct tape is that it quickly turns into a sticky black mess, which has made me avoid using it if possible. This new version removes cleanly (they say it will not leave residue behind for six months, but I have not had it long enough to verify that assertion) even from a desk pad that often shows residue from post-it notes. I was also surprised to find that despite the residue-free adhesive this tape doesn’t give up anything in terms of hold or strength (it held its own weight with only a ¼ in. strip holding it from the edge of my workbench, without stretching for more than a day).

Just what you'd expect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M's no residue duct tape holds as well as you'd expect from original duct tape, but doesn't leave any sticky adhesive residue behind when you remove it. Super convenient when you need a strong hold temporarily, but also want it to remove cleanly.
