FrogTape Multi Surface is top quality. It is easy to use and easy to remove when you are finished with it. It is a good value and I recommend to anyone that they should buy it.

I am in the middle of painting/staining stairs in my house. I need a perfect line between the risers (painted) and treads (stained). I used green tape and regular masking tape on the bottom half of the stairs, with disappointing results.
While complaining at work about it, a co-worker recommended Frog tape. I bought some today, used it tonight, and am thrilled with the results! Perfect edge, no bleed through, no touch ups. There is a lot of taping required for this project, and finding out about Frog tape has saved me hours of time, and prevented lots of hairpulling:)

This product grips firmly and is very easy to tear from strip but difficult to come off after placing on a surface! I love it!

I have been using blue 3M tape for years and years with horrible results and lots of touch-up. The only way I could get good results from blue tape was so clean the surface (a must no matter what tape you use) with soap and water, let dry for a few hours, then apply the tape. Once the tape was applied, I would then paint the tape line with the color of paint that the tape was protecting. So for example, if it was white trim I was masking off to paint the wall, would go over the tape line with the white paint, then lit dry.
My wife wanted me to pain our kitchen yesterday and when at the store, saw this Frog tape and read the package and purchased it. With the Frog tape, I again cleaned off the surface of any dirt or dust, removed any irregularities, and applied the tape. I did not go back and paint the tape line as I did with the blue tape. I painted the walls and once dry, removed the tape. The tape came off without tearing, unlike the blue tape which would tear and leave pieces in the worst of places. The tape came off as it was put on, the lines were amazing and no bleed through. I am sold and will never use blue tape again!!!! Thank you for saving hours of work!
