No crisp lines at all

This stuff is horrible. I used it several years ago when I painted my living room and literally had HOURS of repair work to do after I pulled off the tape. Did not make crisp lines at all. I called the FrogTape people, and they said it was my fault--didn't follow the directions. Yeah, whatever--the "directions" they specifically mentioned were not listed anywhere on the container.
Since years had passed, I thought I'd give it another try since I was doing a job that required extremely straight, crisp lines with no raggedy edges. My daughter drew a cityscape on our bathroom wall, so I used the frogtape around the edge before I painted it. Out of the entire bathroom wall, there was only one 3" line that was crisp. The rest looks AWFUL. No idea how I'm going to fix this. Probably have to paint over the whole thing. Argh. NEVER USING THIS PRODUCT AGAIN, AND WOULD DEFINITELY NOT NOT NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had good luck in the past with other tapes like this. I could never get that crisp line. This tape worked great. There was no bleeding of the colors and when I took it off it looked neat.

Do not buy this

I bought this frog tape hoping that it is going to work better than the other brands and it is wider. However, this tape took off the paint when i was peeling it off. It is so frustrating because it took us 2 days to spray paint our ceiling and the frog tape took them off! Do not buy this tape! I wished I read the reviews before I used it.

Horrible experience

I just moved into a new house, and as someone with no experience painting a room everyone told me Frogtape was the best product to use. I will never listen to recommendations again! It was easy to apply, but most tape is. My experience taking the tape off the walls once I was done was horrible! Paint leaked through, the tape pulled some of the paint off in sections. Now, a job I thought was done will need touchups and take me more time that I didn't want to spend on one room. This has made me never want to paint again...and I still have a spare room and a bathroom that I wanted to take on! One room in my entire life, and now I'm finished. Thanks Frogtape for a horrible experience! I will make sure to never recommend this product in the future.

worked well to keep paint where we wanted it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this frog tape worked perfectly. we applied it to the edges of our woodwork around the base of our walls and we applied it to the ceiling edges to help keep paint from touching the ceiling. after painting the walls we gave it a little while and pulled off the tape and there was no marks from the paint on the ceiling and the wood. It did everything it was supposed to do. We are happy with the results and will be using it again.
