Excellent painting tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are painting, staining, or doing a craft, this tape is on the spot! I used the tape for a staining project and the lines were super clean and the stain did not go where I didn't want it making clear lines. My daughter used it for a paint project and the lines were crisp and clean on that project as well. The tape did not leave any residue when it was removed either.

Better than blue painters tape

Frog tape was better than the ubiquitous blue painters tape I have used in the past.
Here's what worked:
1) Apply the tape to the surface (wall, moulding, etc.)
2) Then use a damp/wet cloth to wipe along the tape while pressing firmly along the tape's edge. The moisture from the damp/wet cloth activates the tape edge to seal it against the wall. Then paint.
3) Remove the tape before the paint dries. Pull tape off at a 45 degree angle
Here's what worked:

When the tape was used following these instructions it worked beautifully without bleeding. I used the green Frog Tape on flat surface mouldings against textured walls, between textured walls and textured ceilings, and also at corners between two textured walls. No bleeding except for a small section where I forgot to wipe down the tape with a damp/wet cloth before painting.
I had no problem with the tape sticking to the surfaces. Make sure surface is dry before applying tape. Tape won't stick on wet surfaces. Also, tape removed easily and did not pull paint off the taped surfaces even though the wall I painted had two previous layers of paint.
Frog Tape is a real improvement over the blue tape and much easier than creating a tape edge barrier with silicon caulk. I will definitely use it again.

Fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used frog tape for the first time painting my house. Was easy to use, stuck to the baseboard and windows great. When I removed the tape it came off easily, no sticky residue. It gave a great clean crisp line ! I am going to use frog tape from now on with all my painting projects.

Serious paint bleed

We used this tape when painting a boat, we assured the tape was properly stuck down and we ended up with about 50% of the taped areas having serious paint bleed. Make a lot more work and gave very poor results! Would not recommend this product

This Frog CROAKED!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our sons’ old room need a paint job. Spent hours prepping walls; filling holes, removing Blue Fun Tak & other surface damage. Applied Frog Tape Multi-Surface Medium Adhesion to the moldings vs. painting edging freehand & to achieve CRISP lines. I paint... let paint dry... as I’m removing the Frog Tape it’s taking the paint OFF the moldings! Not the freshly painted walls BUT the surface I was using it to protect! SO disappointed! Now I have to repaint my moldings. More time, effort & expense thanks to Frog Tape! Ribbit! On the positive side no FRESH paint came off my walls as I removed the Frog Tape.

As an author, artist, painter, quilter, I am constantly using this product! It really is a MULTIPURPOSE product, so many uses and never disappoints! I use it for my writer's wall, hanging art work, securing quilt layers when preparing to quilt, blocking areas on my canvases and yes, even when repainting rooms! I LOVE FROGTAPE Multi-Surface! And the plastic containers are recycled and reused in my studio, great for storing small items that would otherwise get misplaced, neatly stack and help keep my studio organized.

For Great Results, Use Frogtape!
