Disappointed

This tape cannot be trusted. We taped a room, pressed it firm, painted with care, and were very disappointed when we removed to tape and the paint had bled. This added hours of extra work. Thumbs down.

Tape pulled up stain - 30 year old stain - of taped-off wood. Wanted to paint rails on stairs but not the wood block. Wished I used another product

Hi Michael! We are very sorry to hear about your experience using FrogTape. This Multi Surface FrogTape (green) is best used on unfinished wood. The Delicate Surface FrogTape (yellow) is best used on finished wood.

Product is absolute garbage. Specifically asked for frog tape brand, paid more than competitors price. Peeled the paint right off the wall! Throwing remaining rolls in the trash

Hi Stan! We are sorry to see that FrogTape pulled the paint off the wall. When paint lifts like this, it is could be an indication that it did not make a complete bond to the surface. Unfortunately, there are too many variables involved in how paint cures (such as how many coats, dark colors, humidity and temperature), so we can't say for sure why this happened.

Get the cheap tape cuz this tape is suuuuuch trash. We put our faith in this tape because of the price and their misleading ads… don’t make the same mistake.

No Better Than Blue.

Sorry, FrogTape, you are no better than standard blue painters tape. After doing four other accent walls with blue painters tape (and having to do touch-ups when done) I finally broke down and bought a roll of your tape. I used it on my last small wall with hopes your claim would ring true and I wouldn’t have the headache of the same touch-ups I had to do before with Blue. Unfortunately yours was only a tad better, if that. Not worth the extra $. Sorry! I gave it a shot.

We are sorry for your experience with FrogTape. When paint lifts, it could be an indication that the paint underneath did not make a complete bond to the surface, and there are many variables that play into the curing process. Check out of FAQs for tips; https://www.frogtape.com/faq
