This tape did not bleed, but took off the paint when I peeled it off!
will not purchase or recommen FROG tape.
did not work for me like it does in the commericals. and it was NOT cheap paint on the walls.

Paint-block technology DOESN'T work

I recently bought the multi-surface frog tape to create a boarder around a room. The painted surface that the tape was put on had cured over a week, I created the boarder with the frog tape, and painted within 2 weeks of taping (it was not in direct sunlight, otherwise I would have painted within 7 days as the package says to). However, I was very disappointed when I removed the frog tape and the edge of the paint lines was not crisp like the product advertises with the Paint-block technology.
It was easy to put the tape on the wall and paint my desired boarder, but the quality for the price paid was very poor as I must redo the entire room boarder.

RIPS THE PAINT RIGHT OFF!!!!

My ceiling was being painted a new color.. I used this frog tape to protect the walls. ( NOT NEWLY PAINTED) after the ceiling was dry I removed the tape... Ripped the wall paint right off! The wall paint was in excellent condition before... No peeling. It was a new home, walls painted 18 months before. This is NOT my first time painting. I'm going back to the blue stuff.

pulls paint off bad lines waste of time and money

when you pull the tape off so comes under paint that was dried and cured. my lines were not nice and straight the pant lines look blotchy and i took my time and used good paint.all so now i have to buy more paint and redo this job disappointed and alittle more broke

Product stayed on some walls and fell off others walls? I used it in the bathroom yesterday. also sealed nicely for about 75% of the area used but allowed paint to bleed through alot in about 25% of the area used?

Took off paint underneath.

This product is more expensive than others, so I thought it would work better. However. when removing from a painted wall, it took off some of the old paint. This was paint that had been there a long time, not a recently painted wall. Now I have to try to find an exact match to do touch-up.

I will never buy frog tape again.

We have been working on our bathroom for months. Today we taped the walls around our shower(the paint has been dry for weeks) while we applied the grout. After completing the grout we pulled the tape off the walls. The paint came off with the tape most of the way around the shower. We will never buy frog tape again!

Pulls off paint underneath with it

I applied this tape to latex enamel paint that had dried for a couple of weeks. When I carefully pulled it off, the paint line was crisp, but it ripped off the paint underneath with it. So now I have to patch and repaint the first wall. What an extra hassle! I'd prefer a little less crisp lines.
The blue "Three-M" product left almost as crisp lines, but was easier to remove without tearing off the paint underneath...and it's much cheaper.
