When I read the reviews on Frog Tape I thought I would try it! I paint my kitchen and did not want to touch the paint on my new kitchen cupboards! Well it did the job! Love it and would recommend it to any one who paints! Thank you!

Best Painters Tape ever made

After using another painter's tape when painting baseboards we decided there had to be a better alternative. The cleanup took as long as the painting. Some research was done and we found out about Frog Tape. When we started our next room of baseboards we switched to Frog Tape. What a difference! With the Frog Tape there was no leaking of paint and no cleanup. We now tell everyone we know that the only painter's tape to use is Frog Tape!!

good on flat surfaces horrible on baseboards and small surfaces

I painted my chimney which I did twice, once without the Frog tape and the second time with. The lines were great. I then used the tape on the baseboards in a bedroom and ended up throwing out the tape in frustration. The baseboards have a small amount of surface area the tape can stick to and it didn't stick at all. I ended up going back to the store for the blue tape.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worth the Extra Work

First of all, Frogtape is a much better product than the blue painter's tape. The seal the Frogtape creates is much tighther than the "other" brand. While the tape is a bit expensive, and the process of taping off is a long and tedious one, it is worth it in the end. One BIG reccomendation is to remove the tape while your paint is still wet. This will prevent and ripping of the paint that has bonded with the tape.

I have painted a lot of rooms over the years in various homes I've lived in and I can tell you that using the green Frog Tape has really made a difference. When I've used other brands I've had the paint bleed under the tape but this tape keeps the paint out! It lives up to its advertising and I will never use anything but Frog Tape in the future. It sticks well enough to keep the paint out but not so much that it makes it hard to remove. Love this product.

Perfect for Dorms

I'm a college student looking to see how I can attach my photos on the walls of my dorm room, and this tape happened to help me out the most! I really recommend this to those moving into their dorms.
I stick this on the back of my photo collage, then to the wall, and it leaves no mark or doesn't take off the paint. You can say this tape saved me! I'd rather not deal with the embarrassment of leaving the room at the end of the semester with empty markings everywhere.
