Not to be mistaken for painters tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a sample to try. It is not painters tape. It has a high tack and is very sticky. It can be used on anything that can not be damaged by any tape. It will remove paper off drywall, paint of previous painted surfaces, and veneer. It can be used on solid surfaces as painters tape. Holding power is strong so it can be used for assemblies where clamping won't work. Basically a high tack masking tape.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for just general use projects, when duct tape felt like overkill but Scotch tape wasn’t enough and I’ve used it a handful of times and it hasn’t disappointed yet!

Strong and tear resistant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a sample of their Contractor grade masking tape to evaluate. I am giving it an enthusiastic thumbs up. The tape is a bit thicker and the adhesive is stronger than the standard masking tape or painters tape. The first use for me was to bind up a pile of wood scraps, and it held together better than any other tape I have used. I also used it to post a sign on my street sign post advertising a free stroller. It held up in the wind, long enough for someone to claim the stroller. Good sticking power and tear resistance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does what it claims to do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this tape to try in exchange for my review, and I have to say that I so happy I did! I have a vinyl fence that I wanted to add a little accent color to in places and gave this tape a chance to prove itself. I cleaned off the areas I was going to apply it to, and let the tape sit for about an hour before I painted. I had to wait a day to remove the tape, and it came off easily, not leaving any stickiness behind. It didn't allow any of the paint to seep through where it was applied, and left a crisp line. Totally impressed with it and the job it did.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Average Masking Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this 3M Scotch Heavy Duty Masking Tape for free to review. This is good tape but not too heavy duty. I used it to tape up notes and papers on the walls to see if they would stay up. They did but just a bit better than the regular masking tape. Anything thick to hang up would not stay up on the walls. I like the color of this tape. I would buy this but not for thick items or heavier items to hold or hang. I feel this is just regular masking tape.

Super sticky but still peels off easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to mask off an area around my cabinets, it sticks really well and peels off easy and with no leftover residue. I plan on using it to do some touch up painting outside this weekend.
