[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a FREE SAMPLE of the 3M Utility Duct Tape for evaluational purposes. This duct tape tears easily off the roll without needing scissors. Very easy to use. It's nice and sticky, too. Holds together well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M Utility duct tape is sturdy and holds well. I can't imagine a place where it wouldn't work. It is one of those indispensable things that everyone should have in their tool kit. This roll will go to college with my daughter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product all over the hours. From taping cords together to using it for my pens at my desk. No scissors are needed to tear the tape as it tears very easily horizontally or vertically. Ithe tape is very flexible and stretches to form a tight fit around objects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item free from 3M, and then used it. I think the duct tape worked well. I used it for both a rake handle which had splintered, and a package I mailed. The tape was easy to rip with my fingers.

It’s strong, easy to tear, and sticks well to a variety of surfaces without peeling up right away. I’ve used it for quick household repairs, bundling cords, and temporary fixes around the garage, and it’s held up reliably every time. The tape has a good balance of flexibility and durability, making it easy to work with even for smaller projects. For an everyday utility tape at a reasonable price, this is a solid product that gets the job done well. 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely not the tape your duck uses! Nope, this is the real deal....DUCT tape! Lots of people make it, but this one is made by 3M, industry experts in the field of adhesives. Holds pretty darn good, too! You can definitely find cheaper products out there, but if you want something you can trust, give this product a try. Just don't try to tape your duck with it!

Very Handy Duct Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good all-round duct style tape because it's so handy and flexible. It's handy because you can tear it by hand and don't need scissors. The only caveat is that it doesn't tear cleanly, please see photo. It is low on the 3M strength scale as indicated by their handy image of the flexed strong arm, but it still sticks really well! The body of the tape is thin, which not only makes it easy to tear, but allows it to conform to different shapes, as seen on the ceramic sculpture that was broken, and I'm using the tape to hold in place while I glue it back together. I recommend this general use tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to package items to donate. I loved the tape because it sealed very well and was very easy to use. I also plan to use it in my garden to help stake up plants. My husband plans to use it on his landscaping tools to keep the cord away from the cutting action. I appreciate 3M for giving me the opportunity to try this product. The tape tears easily and that it’s important if you are planning on using it on several items. It is a very good tool to make simple repairs. I believe you will enjoy this product.
