Excellent Quality Tape for All Uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this 3M Utility Basic Duct Tape roll free from 3M to test and review . I have an old leather chair that I eventually need to redo, but for now, I decided to use some duct tape to repair the leather tears. It is holding up perfectly! When I use the chair, I do not get scratched from the tape; it feels like it is hardly there at all. I am very impressed with its quality and would highly recommend it to anyone, whatever their needs.

Duct tape is essential to ever home

Very easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3M Basic Utility Duct Tape is of good quality. Used it to retape some boxes that were falling apart. I was able to tear off pieces without scissors, which was so helpful to me. Also, The boxes just needed one strip as opposed to two with my old tape

My new pliable, handy, easy to tear duct tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been looking for some duct tape to use at home for some projects I needed to do. 3M sent me a roll of duct tape to review and it is ideal for me to use. This duct tape is pliable and conforms to fit around objects. It tears easily so I don’t have to wrestle with a pair of scissors every time I use it. It was the prefect solution to attaching some padding to a metal bracket on my bed frame that I was catching my leg on when moving around the bed changing the linens or making the bed.
I covered the metal bracket with foam pipe insulation but needed to tape it in place. The 3M Duct Tape was the perfect solution to my problem. I had to apply it while sitting on the floor to reach all the area that needed taping. It was so easy to tear the tape as it could tear horizontally and vertically. It was pliable so I could conform the tape to fit the direction and area I needed. I could easily tear the tape to make it fit perfectly without having to also handle a scissors while doing this project. I liked that the tape covered the entire area and no adhesive was exposed. I was pleased that it made a smooth surface covering all the metal and insulation so my bedding did not adhere or catch on anything.
I like how easy it was to pull the tape off the roll. That made it ideal to pull out the amount of tape I needed for each section of my project.

3M basic utility duct tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This duct tape is very flexible. It was easy to tear, though not always a clean tear. On the two items I used it, it seemed to hold better on the plastic. On the cardboard boxes it let loose on the sides. This would be good when you needed a bit more flexibility in taping around irregular shapes or tighter spaces.

Improve Your Grip!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. I received the 3M Utility Duct Tape. This is more of a lightweight tape which is great for light duty usage. I used it to help my grip on my plastic window squeegee. The handle was slippery when wet and rhe duct tape gave me a nice grip. Even after prolonged use the adhesive didn’t get sticky on me. This tape was very easy to tear. I would definitely recommend this duct tape for taping any tool handles or other handles that you want to get a better grip on.

Amazing Utility Duct Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm grateful 3M gave me a roll of Duct Tape to try out. This Utility Duct Tape has worked wonders in my apartment. I've used it to fix a dry hose leak, as well as by my hot water heater. The tape tears supers easily which is not always the case with duct tape. It's also super flexible with a variety of uses.

Great duct tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great basic duct tape. I used it to hold a piece of pool noodle that I cut to size for my outdoor faucet. It is holding well under the weather. We’ve had some storms come through and it has not become weathered.
