Sadly we were disapointed with this printer. This is the 4th HP printer we have purchased over the years and probably the most expensive. My wife had a relatively cheap HP printer for many years and it performed first class with the Instant inks - she was printing up to 500 pages per month. I then bought her a replacement which performed badly by invariably mishandling paper so we returned the printer and asked for a replacement - this was not much better. So for her birthday I bout her this printer and its been something of a nightmare - the control panel is way too small to enter things like passwords on and get all the letters right - it is then a nightmare to correct the letters and invariable one has to start again. Having got it installed it was incredibly slow to print pages (colour ones) and had significant pauses between parts of the pages. Also the colours (despite being a 4 cartridge system - the others were 2 cartridge) were somewhat fadedand lacking shareness. She tried calling HP for assistance and was cut off multiple times - quite often on reconnecting she would find herself talking some someone probably from somewhere in Asia who spoke English with a significant accent and incredibly fast - so much so that she couldn't understand what was being said and eventually had to disconnect the call as she was gettingnowhere no matter how hard she tried. All in all this printer and HP Service has been a major disapointment. Not what we expected.
