Love the new Machine! Just getting used to a few changes

I love the new machine and all the new stitches. The one being replaced is a Singer Genie from 1976 with 4 stitches (Still operates, but needed some minor repair and parts are obsolete). I love this new machine, but really prefer the reverse switch on the other one. Seems kind of at a bad angle on this one. But I can learn to live with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This SINGER® HD6360M Mechanical Heavy Duty Sewing Machine is sooooo much better than my previous machine. It is easy to adjust and maintain. It feels like it is easier to control what is happening with the stitch and the sewing is just easier. I have used it to make different types of face masks using multiple layers of materials with of all kinds of thicknesses. I have no complaints about the sewing abilities of the needle itself. This machine is definitely a workhorse and something I'd like to try using for my more heavy duty projects like hemming my thick jeans!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this machine...I call it mr singer ♡ I've had this machine since ouf at least 7 years if not more..and IT NEVER LET ME DOWN...and we have spend LOTSSSS OF NIGHTS together...JUST GOOD things to say about this machine...I've just ordered the quantum 9960 cause I'm taking my sewing to next level lately and I wanted to give mr singer a break as he is my ONLY sewing machine and I use him EVERYDAY and I hope THE quantum it's as good of a machine cause my expectation are high since ts the top rated machine you have

I was disappointed as I wanted a “heavy duty” that would sew through heavier material to include craft projects & denim. I ended up breaking a heavy duty needle and having my thread bunch and not be able to complete my project (not once but continual). Works fine for lighter sewing but I already had a good machine for that. Was easy to thread and basic use. I should have paid attention to the other reviews I read before my purchase. I expected better from Singer & would return it if it wasn’t such a hassle.
