I returned it because it was bull crap it wouldn't USB tether no matter what court I used and I tried 50 different chords

To properly setup USB tethering on this router, check USB tethering is enabled in your phone's settings, a high-quality data cable is used and the router is connect to a 9V/2A or higher power source to ensure stability. Additonally, ensure the router is running with the most current firware version. Router RT-AX50 Go works in WebGUI, app don’t work.

To resolve this, we recommend updating the router's firmware if it is running with an older version. Firmware is available for download at: https://www.asus.com/networking-iot-servers/wifi-6/all-series/rt-ax50-go/helpdesk_bios?model2Name=RT-AX50-Go. Ensure your phone is connected directly to the router's WIFI network, check on your phone or PC settings if the application has permission enabled. Do not use credentials save from a previous, different network.Furthemore, from the WebGUI, Admin > System, verify if "Enable App Access is set to "Yes".
